SUMMARY:TRA International Printing Museum Tour
DESCRIPTION:March 10\, 2016 \nAt long last\, a special adult-only guided tour of the International Printing Museum just for TRA members\, families and friends. Each tour (see form below) can accommodate only 60 people so the first 120 to sign up will be guaranteed a place. This is a popular tour so don’t wait until the last minute to sign up or you may miss out. There will be 2 presentations on each morning and afternoon tour\, by the famous “Benjamin Franklin\,” who is amazing! While one group is in the auditorium listening to “Ben”\, the other group will have a special guided tour of the printing presses – then you switch places. If you think this might be boring – you would be so wrong! Both the presentation and the tour are fascinating. There is so much to learn and experience. The museum also has special events for children and adults all year long that you will probably want to attend on your own. This may become your favorite “go to” museum because it is interactive and offers a chance for you to express your creativity. You can even rent a press to create and print your very own special cards\, etc. And it’s right in our neighborhood – Carson – so you will drive there on your own or arrange to go in a carpool with your friends. Lunch is on your own\, but there are plenty of places in the area to eat if you so desire. \nDate: Thursday\, March 10\, 2016\, either at 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. \nCost: $10 per person. Make your check payable to TRA. Mail your tour fee with the completed form below by March 1\, 2016 to Beth O’Gorman\, 5508 Ironwood St. RPV 90275 (310-375-3088) \nThe International Printing Museum is located at 315 W Torrance Boulevard (just east of the 110 freeway)\, Carson\, CA 90745.
